1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Udaan (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility and User Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. When registering an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. User Conduct and Content Guidelines
Udaan provides tools for creating, styling, and exporting quotes and graphic designs. You agree that you will NOT use the App to create or distribute any content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, obscene, harassing, threatening, or harmful.
- Promotes hatred, bigotry, violence, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party.
- Contains malicious software, viruses, or code designed to disrupt our infrastructure or services.
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
4. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, app design, visual interfaces, compilation, code, and curated quote databases contained in Udaan are the property of Softmaco or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial inspiration and creative purposes.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Certain features (such as premium templates, custom backgrounds, and unmetered exports) may require an active subscription or in-app purchase:
- Billing: Payments are processed securely through Google Play In-App Billing. Prices are clearly displayed prior to purchase in your local currency.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle via your Google Play account settings.
- Cancellations & Refunds: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the Google Play Store (Profile > Payments & Subscriptions). Refund requests are subject to Google Play's standard refund policies.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and its content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Softmaco does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Softmaco and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the App.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When modifications occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any revision constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
